History

The company’s specialisation in the manufacture of oenological machinery has been acquired over the years, starting with the true techniques required for wine production and developing them into systems capable of performing the entire process of transforming grapes into beverages. Velo systems are capable of producing juices, regular or sparkling wines and even various intermediate alternatives, such as sweet filtrates and concentrated and/or refined stum, offering targeted solutions for each customer.

Filtration, a topic which has always been Velo’s strong point and has rendered the company the undisputed Leader on today’s Market, has now reached its maximum expression, thanks to arrival of new bypass filtration technologies for liquids and sediments. Thanks to membrane technology, millions of hectolitres of wine have been filtered while preserving the organoleptic characteristics of the product. The philosophy behind every Velo system is based on respect for the product, whether a raw material or a final product.
